The Bed Boss Adjustable Bed Warranty Terms

The mechanical parts on your Bed Boss adjustable bed frame are automatically warrantied for a period of FIFTEEN (15) years upon purchase from an authorized retailer. This limited warranty consists of two halves:

  • The first ONE (1) year is a full replacement warranty for mechanical parts.

  • The second FOURTEEN (14) years is a prorated warranty for mechanical parts.

Please note the FIFTEEN (15) year warranty period is measured from the original date of purchase of the Bed Boss adjustable bed frame and applies only to the original purchaser.

What Exactly Does Our Adjustable Bed Warranty Cover?

During the 15-year warranty period, the Bed Boss will ship replacement mechanical parts to you to replace parts that have quit working. For example, this could include a lift motor, massage motor, or control box that stops working.

The warranty does not include coverage for the bed’s framework, cover, platform legs, power cords, remote control, retainer bar, or headboard brackets; however, if you have an issue with one of the aforementioned parts, please notify us within THREE (3) days of receiving your bed. These parts are also available to purchase on an as-needed basis.

During the first ONE (1) year, in the event that a mechanical part malfunctions due to faulty workmanship or materials, the Bed Boss will ship the replacement part to the purchaser at no cost. The Bed Boss will be responsible for shipping costs. To determine what part needs to be replaced, a Bed Boss service technician will troubleshoot the issue with the purchaser (likely via email). Once the purchaser receives the replacement part, it is the purchaser’s sole responsibility to install it.

During the second FOURTEEN (14) years, also known as the prorated period, the Bed Boss will ship the replacement part to the purchaser for a portion of its cost. The purchaser will be responsible for shipping costs during this period.

The Bed Boss adjustable bed warranty does not apply to:

  • Damage caused by the purchaser

  • If the adjustable bed has been mishandled (whether in transit or by other means), subjected to physical or electrical abuse or misuse, or otherwise damaged or neglected

  • If there has been any modification of the adjustable bed, including circumvention of the built-in safety features to keep the mechanical components safe from damage

  • Excessive weight

  • If the purchaser bought the bed from a reseller. If you are not the original purchaser of the adjustable bed, you take it “as is” and “with all faults”

How do you maintain an adjustable bed?

Adjustable beds are generally hassle-free. However, keep the following tips in mind to help ensure your bed stays in tip-top shape:

  • Regularly check the power cord for damage. The cord can get pinched between the wall and bed, causing it to wear out. Remember that pets often chew cords, too.

  • Be conscious about where you are sitting on the bed when operating it. Remember to lay down flat and evenly distribute your weight across the surface of the mattress before raising or lowering your adjustable. Sitting on the edge while adjusting can put extra stress on the motors.
