While these sizes are considered the industry standard, some deviation, up to one inch, is expected to accommodate different manufacturing specifications on platform or foundation boxes. The Bed Boss mattresses are designed to function on standard foundation boxes from a varierty of companies. They may also be used with a foundation box on platform beds with adequate support or any hard, flat, and level surface.
